The most simple way to control and command an OPM system is employing HyperTerminal (or a similar program like PuTTY, RealTerm, etc.).
At installation time the IP address will be set as needed. This is done by using ezManager, a utility provided by Orbitracs or to be downloaded from http://www.eztcp.com/en/download/ezmanager.php (to note that address change can be repeated any time during lifetime if changing is required).
Next, open a HyperTerminal session with WinSock on the address set on port 1470. From here, all commands listed in table below are available, allowing full control over the system.
To note that numerous additional commands are available for maintenance, verification, additional functionality etc. These will be provided during installation. This command set will also enable the end-user to develop it’s own software for controlling the system or integrate control into an already existing teleport M&C system.
Note: fine pointing can be made on an un-limited number of orbit positions. When accessing a same position again later, the corrections will be re-applied automatically
